- All swims on the
river and lakes are numbered and there are platforms from which
to fish.
- There is a log
cabin on the site, which is used for the sale of fishing tackle
and bait.
- There is also
a barbeque area with a gas barbeque for the use of anglers
(by arrangement with
the bailiff)
- Favoured baits are sweetcorn, bread, banded pellets and maggot
on the lakes and sweetcorn, maggot and caster on the river. Ground
bait is permitted on all lakes and the river.
- We have tried to keep
rules to a minimum – Keepnets are
allowed but carp and barbel must not be retained in them unless
there is an organised match. Barbless hooks only, 1 landing net
per angler is essential. Boilies or nuts are not permitted. .
No dogs are allowed on the fishery – other than that it’s
mainly common sense
